Over the next two weeks, city staff will travel across Lacombe, collecting household garbage and yard waste that cannot be placed in regular garbage bins.

To prepare, place all items for disposal in front of your property. Items must be placed by 7 a.m. when your neighbourhood is scheduled for pick-up.

Refuse must be separated into the following categories:

  • Brush and wood

  • Leaves, sod and garden waste

  • Metals

  • Appliances, including fridges, freezers and air conditioners

  • Furniture

  • Swing sets, trampolines and electronic waste

City staff will not accept unmanageable piles, piles that have not been sorted or separated, hazardous waste, construction waste, or cardboard.

Any items left out during Trash to Treasure the week prior can be left out for collection during the Spring Community Clean-up. If you plan to keep any items from Trash to Treasure, remove them before your pick-up date.
