Local equipment dealer A.R.K. New Tech is rolling out the orange carpet for the community with a “Ride and Drive” test drive event this Tuesday, May 21st, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at their Morden location, situated conveniently between Morden and Winkler.
This hands-on experience is open to everyone — from farmers and acreage owners to lawn care enthusiasts — and includes a free BBQ lunch at noon, test drives of Kubota tractors, mowers, and side-by-sides, and exclusive event-day discounts.
Hands-on fun with trusted orange equipment
Whether you’re curious about upgrading your lawn equipment or want to test out a 200-horsepower tractor, A.R.K. New Tech is offering the chance to hop in the driver’s seat — literally.
“You can come on down, grab anything you're kind of looking at, and we can get you on something to try it out,” said Justin Sanders, who’s been with A.R.K. New Tech for 10 years. “Kubota is our big seller — we carry everything from sub-compact to ag and construction equipment.”
Expect to see popular models like:
-
BX1880 sub-compact tractors – great for small acreages
-
M8 201 – a 200 HP workhorse for serious farm operations
-
Zero-turn mowers – perfect for cutting grass with precision and speed
-
Side-by-sides (UTVs) – built more for work than play, but still “fun to rip around with,” Justin laughed.
Free lunch and a community vibe
At noon, attendees can enjoy free hamburgers and hot dogs fresh off the BBQ. While Sanders won’t be manning the grill himself, he jokes that he’ll “be there for quality assurance — just to make sure everything is safe.”
But this event is about more than food and machinery — it’s about connecting with the community.
“The people are great to work with,” said Sanders. “You get to meet everyone — farmers, construction workers, people from town. That’s one of the best parts of the job.”
Exclusive deals and discounts for one day only
As part of the celebration, A.R.K. New Tech is offering 20% off select products, including parts, service, and some equipment.
“We’ve got sales happening across the board,” said Sanders. “Come talk to someone in our parts, service, or sales departments — we’re all happy to help.”
And even if you’re not in the market to buy, Justin encourages folks to stop in anyway.
“We always say, come in and shoot the breeze with us. We just want people to feel welcome.”
From mowers to massive machines — something for everyone
Whether you’re mowing a small yard or managing a large farm, A.R.K. New Tech carries a wide range of equipment to match any need. Their lineup includes:
-
Zero-turn and ride-on mowers
-
Sub-compact tractors with attachments for tilling, mowing, or hauling
-
Large construction and agricultural tractors
-
Utility vehicles with towing capabilities and electric dump boxes
“We’ve got everything from residential to ag and construction,” said Sanders. “And with all this rain lately, it’s probably time to start thinking about cutting the lawn.”
