Fire bans have been lifted in several areas including the RM of Dufferin, Municipality of Norfolk Treherne, RM of Woodlands, and Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation following recent rainfall that has improved dry conditions.

With the rain, fire risks have significantly decreased, allowing officials to ease the restrictions.

However, local authorities continue to monitor conditions closely.

Residents are urged to stay vigilant, as weather conditions can change quickly.

While the recent rainfall has brought relief, communities are reminded to stay prepared and follow any new guidelines issued by local authorities.
