Construction work Thursday causing delays on Central Ab highways

A couple construction spots will have traffic delayed Thursday in Central Alberta.

On Highway 11 at the intersection south of Eckville bridge washing will have alternate lane closures.

Temporary traffic signals will be in place. Drivers can expect one lane of alternating traffic. Speed will be reduced to 50 km/h in the area. Expect delays.

Also Thursday on the QEII southbound lanes near Highway 53 near Ponoka, crews are working on filling potholes. Drivers in the area can expect speed reduction and lane closures. Watch when passing construction crews.
