Bentely School has been named one of the top 50 Terry Fox Fundraising Schools in Alberta.
The recognition is a testament to the heart, dedication and generosity of the students, staff, families and community.
“We’ve received a top fundraiser badge, which we’ll proudly display as a reminder of what we can achieve together” says the post.
The school held a “Pie the Teacher in the face” fundraiser the day before their Terry Fox Run to help raise funds.
The run itself took place on Oct. 4, 2024.
The school is planning to continue with another run this year to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Marathon of Hope.
