The first phase of infrastructure upgrades along North Railway Street is set to begin in June.  

The work is part of the Wastewater Treatment Plan Infrastructure Upgrades Project for utility work and surface improvements from 32 St E to 103 N Railway St.  

Construction is scheduled to begin on June 2 and is expected to continue to December, with final surface repairs following in spring 2026.

During the project, drivers can expect road and lane closures and detours around the work zones, however access to businesses will be maintained at all times.  

The tentative construction schedule is: 

  • Phase 1: 32 St to Fisher Gate, June - July  

  • Phase 2: Operations yard, June - September  

  • Phase 3: Road closed from Fisher Gate to 1103 N Railway St (corner of Crystal Clean Carwash), August - December  

Hours of construction will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday, with possible evening work.
