Spray pads open in Winnipeg today

With temperatures rising, the City of Winnipeg is helping residents cool off by opening spray pads today, May 24. 

Most spray pads are open every day of the week until September 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. To see a full list of locations, click here. 

Winnipeggers will have to wait a little longer for outdoor pools to open, which is set for Friday, June 20, with the exception of Fort Garry Lions. Unheated pools and Fort Garry Lions are expected to open one week later, on June 27.

All outdoor pools will be open seven days a week, weather permitting. 

Wading pools in the City will open on a staggered schedule starting Tueday, July 1.
