With temperatures nearing 30 degrees this week in Winnipeg, many are sharing the best spots around Manitoba to cool off with a tasty treat.

We asked CHVN listeners where the best ice cream spots around Manitoba were.

Some of the places mentioned in Winnipeg are Dug and Betty's, Sky Sundae, Sargent Sundae, Baba's House, Chaeban Ice Cream, Milksmith, Licks, Original George's, and Utoffeea.

In Winkler, Erica said, "Icebergs! Mmmm, deep-fried oreo sundae." Nicci agreed and also said, "Charley B's"

When Rhonda goes to Charley B's, she said she asks for something special. "The YOLO Cone is amazing. I ask for it with swirl ice cream and peanut butter dip."

Kara-Jean loves going to What's the Scoop in Portage la Prairie.

In Stonewall, Carly has found a hidden gem. "Biggz Scoops in Stonewall has amazing flavours that sell out fast!! Love me some Algonquin Canoe. They also have gelato and sorbet!"

Cathy, Audrey, and Cheryl all agree that The Icream Hut in Altona is their favourite place.

At Winnipeg Beach, Carol said she goes to the Breakwater.

A couple of places in Beausejour were mentioned. Jordan and Gina love The Dairy Bar. Sarah says Pennyweight Market has the best soft ice cream/twisters!

In Brandon, Rox and Bob love getting to go to the Velvet Dip. Christine's go-to spot is Frosters.
