Monika Sharma shared stories about her Indian Culture on Wednesday afternoon at the Weyburn Public Library. It was the first in a series presented by Southeast Advocates, for kids and families to learn about other cultures.
Sharma moved with her family to Weyburn from northern India nearly two years ago. She shared about her cultural heritage, and while she practices the Hindu religion, the presentation focused on the festivals, food, clothes, and celebrations she grew up enjoying in India.
Sharma told Discover Weyburn that her family loves it here in Weyburn.
