'Devoted women with servant's hearts' are this month's lunch break winners

The staff at Union Gospel Mission's Charis Centre were the happy recipients of May's Danny's Whole Hog BBQ Lunch Break from CHVN on Thursday.

They were nominated by Lenise, a coworker, who said, "These women work tirelessly pouring into the lives of women struggling in addiction daily. "

The Charis Centre, one of UGM's seven ministries, assists women struggling with addiction.

The nomination form continued, " They are devoted women with servant's hearts. It is a joy to serve alongside these women on a day-to-day basis."

CHVN was excited to deliver this delicious meal from Danny's Whole Hog, as well as some prizes, thanks to E & A Sewing Service, Best Sleep Centre, and Matthew Havelka of Vivico Real Estate.
