Fire ban update: RM of Wolverine

The RM of Wolverine joins the RM of Humboldt in issuing an immediate fire ban due to the extremely dry conditions and the increased risk of wildfires.  

The fire ban will be in place until further notice.  

With the fire ban in place, this means open fires of any kind (including pit fires, burn barrels, and campfires), the use of fireworks, burning garbage, crop residue or brush, or any other outdoor burning activities are prohibited.  

Permitted under the fire ban are CSA-approved propane or natural gas appliances such as BBQs and camp stoves, provided they are used with caution and non-flammable surfaces. 

Non-compliance may result in fines or other penalties.
