Estevan Police Service members dealt with a wide range of calls over the past several days, including arrests on outstanding warrants, multiple domestic disturbances, mental health assistance, and enforcement of local bylaws. Several matters remain under investigation as police continue to ensure public safety across the city.

On June 2, an Estevan man turned himself in at the Estevan Police Service due to outstanding warrants related to impaired driving, failing to attend court, and breaching probation conditions. He was arrested, processed, and released with a court date set for Monday, June 9, 2025.

Officers responded to a disturbance at an east-end residence, where they assisted a resident in a mental health crisis. The individual was transported to the hospital for assessment and care.

A report of possible criminal harassment between neighbours is under investigation.

Police also responded to a report of trespassing on commercial property. An Estevan man was located, cautioned, and sent on his way.

During the day shift, youth were found walking along the railroad tracks. Officers explained the safety risks and informed them that it is illegal to be on CP or CN Rail property.

A domestic disturbance in the south end was resolved peacefully, with police mediating to ensure everyone's safety.

A possible break-in was reported at a residence. The suspect had left before police arrived. Charges for breaching court conditions are pending.

Police investigated a report of a male breaking into a vehicle and determined it was the owner attempting to unlock it after misplacing his keys.

Officers responded to a call about yelling and screaming from a residence in the east end. It was determined to be a domestic dispute. One person agreed to leave for the night and not return.

Police also received a report of a man allegedly breaching a no-contact court order. The subject was not located, and the matter remains under investigation.

On June 03, Police arrested an Estevan man on outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court. He was additionally charged with breach of probation and will appear in court in July.

Officers are investigating an act of mischief at Churchill Park. EPS encourages residents to report suspicious activity in city parks promptly to assist with timely response.

Two dogs were reported running at large near the 600 block of 4th Street. The owner was located and issued a bylaw ticket.

During night shift, officers dealt with a report of two unwanted individuals at a local apartment complex. They were located, cautioned, and left the area without further issue.

As a result of an investigation into a domestic disturbance on May 31, a 21-year-old woman has been charged with assault and breach of probation. She was released with conditions and will appear in court in August.
