The 15U AAA East Central Dodgers came up short against the Saskatoon Astros on Wednesday night, losing 8-7 in Muenster.  

First baseman Everitt Solar had a big night at the plate for the Dodgers as he had two hits, including a home run and drove in four runs.  

Catcher Sawyer Pollon had three hits and scored two runs.  

After the Astros opened up with two runs in the first inning, the Dodgers stormed back answering four of their own.  

Saskatoon regained the lead following a run in the third inning and three runs in the fourth inning. 

The Dodgers tied the game at six with a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth.  

An eighth inning was required where the Astros scored two runs, and the Dodgers could only score one.  

With the loss, the Dodgers record drops to 3-7. 

Next action for the squad is Saturday when they host the White Butte Broncos at James Korte Field, with Game 1 beginning at 12:00 pm.
