Surge teams wrap up season in Battle at the Bridge

Multiple Swift Current Surge club basketball teams wrapped up their seasons at the Battle at the Bridge over the weekend.

The U13 girls won gold in the B Division, beating the Express 46-27.

The U11 girls beat the Express 40-20 to win bronze. 

The two U15 girls' teams faced off for bronze in the B Division, and Green beat Black 43-17.

The U15 boys won bronze in the A Division 52-36 over Coledale. 

AJ Peters led the way with 15 points in a 57-40 win over LCBC Vander Beek to open the event. 

The Surge then fell 65-35 to the Pincher Creek Grizzlies.

They rebounded with the win over Coledale in the final, as Gradyn Jackson scored 13 points to take player of the game honours.

The U15 Surge finished 8-6 on the season.
