It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elenora Joan DeRosier (née Mickel), who passed away peacefully with her children by her side, on June 8, 2025 at the Estevan Regional Nursing Home.
A Prayer Service will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at Hall Funeral Services in Estevan. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Monica’s Roman Catholic Church in Bienfait with Rev. Thuy Nguyen the Celebrant. Interment of Wayne and Joan’s ashes will take place at the Bienfait Cemetery and will be followed by a time of lunch and fellowship at the Royal Canadian Legion in Bienfait.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Fatoorechi, Estevan Home Care, Unit A at St. Joseph's Hospital, and all the staff at the Estevan Regional Nursing Home for their care and compassion shown to the entire family, especially our mother.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of Joan's favourite charities, the Salvation Army Food Bank, 1107 - 4th Street, Estevan, SK S4A 0W6.
