The Southeast TechHub (SETH) has relaunched RISE: the Rural Innovation Startup Ecosystem — a free, 10-month program designed to support entrepreneurs across southeast Saskatchewan. First introduced in 2023, the program gained attention when two Grade 12 students won $22,500 for their portable irrigation system. Now backed by SaskPower, RISE is returning to help turn more local ideas into global solutions, with a focus on energy, agriculture, and rural innovation.
To share more about the opportunity, Gordon More, Executive Director of SETH, joined the SUN 102 Morning Show.
"Don’t ask, how do I get clean water somewhere? Ask instead, how do I hydrate the cows?" — Gordon More
