Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Check out the events I will be attending this weekend.

You know the drill: stop by my table to say hi, scan the RAM 1500 QR code and enter to win!

The first event I will be at this weekend is the Crossfield Pete Knight Days, an event to kick off the summer!

Location: Crossfield Pete Knight Days, Box 871, Laut Ave., Crossfield, Alta.
Date: June 13 and 14

What’s happening?

June 13: Start your day off with breakfast provided by the town council from 8 to 10 a.m. Afterwards, attend the rodeo (grand entry at 6 p.m.) and witness an evening of entertainment with plenty of horsing around! For the 18+ crowd, following the rodeo from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., enjoy entertainment by the Steve Pointmeier Band at the nightly dance.

June 14: Get ready for another jam-packed day! After you recover from Friday night’s fun, enjoy another provided breakfast at the Pete Knight Arena from 8 to 10 a.m., followed by the 11 a.m. parade that starts on Railway Street and Limit Ave. At noon, the picnic in the park begins, where you can stop in and enjoy the day’s farmers market. The rodeo’s grand entry begins at 2 p.m., along with a kids’ petting zoo and face painting. Then, if you are 18+, wrap up your day by attending the evening’s dance from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Finally, enjoy the fireworks at 11 p.m. to light up the night and end a wonderful event.

The second event I will be at is the Father’s Day Run presented by NRG Fitness.

Location: East Lake Regional Park, Airdrie, Alta.
Date: June 15

What’s happening?

Raise awareness for men’s mental health this Father’s Day through a family 5K walk or run! The kids’ 1K race begins at 9 a.m., followed by the family 5K at 9:30 a.m. Not only is there an opportunity for exercise, but there will be plenty of vendors and food trucks on site for your enjoyment.

As always, stay updated on the Summer Cruiser and my whereabouts through these weekly blogs or our social media platforms. I’m looking forward to seeing you, Airdrie! 🙂
