Cade Kennedy has found his hockey home for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
Kennedy has committed to Red Deer Polytechnic Kings of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC).
The Regina native was acquired by the Broncos at the trading deadline in January from Estevan and made immediate impact in Humboldt.
He ended up with 19 points (7G-12A) in 23 games with the green and gold. Prior to that, Kennedy collected 12 points (5G-7A) in 30 games with the Bruins.
Kennedy began his junior hockey career with the Yorkton Terriers. Across three organizations, Cade appeared in 154 SJHL regular season games, notching 34 goals and 36 assists for 70 points.
“Cade was a key contributor to our success after we acquired him,” said Broncos Head Coach and GM Brayden Klimosko in a team release. “He filled some major holes in our lineup when injuries hit us late in the season. Cade is a great leader and a proven winner. We’re excited to see what the future holds for him in Red Deer.”
