Local baseball fans were treated to a wild one at Ross Wells Park last night.

The Moose Jaw Miller Express beat the Okotoks Dawgs 12-11 in an extra inning.

Evan Deringer came up clutch. His single in the bottom of the 10th drove home the winning run. William Edwards went 5 for 6 at the plate with 2 RBI.

The same two teams go at it again tonight at Ross Wells.

In other WCBL action, Swift Current beat the Regina Red Sox 9-4 and Saskatoon Berries shaded Medicine Hat 5-4.

The Toronto Blue Jays swept their 3-game set against the Cardinals in St. Louis with a 5-2 victory yesterday.

The Stanley Cup final resumes tonight with the Florida Panthers taking a 2-1 series lead into game 4 against the Edmonton Oilers.

And week 2 of CFL action starts tonight with the BC Lions in Winnipeg to play the Blue Bombers. Saskatchewan will play Saturday night in Hamilton.
