With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Ken Walter. He was a beloved husband of 50 years, to the love of his life, Vicki, an extraordinary father and the best grandpa. He is survived by his wife Vicki, his son Kyle (Maureen), daughter Kerilyn (David) and his 8 grandchildren Akele, Channing, Jade, Lillian, Ellianna, Keyan, Jesse and Raya (his best friend). He is also survived by his siblings Carol (Dennis) Evans, Barry (Tenny) Walter and Brent (Anita) Walter. He is predeceased by his parents Leslie & Mary Walter, sister Margaret (Edward) Olfert, and sister Joan Murray.

Ken was born on November 26, 1950, in Moose Jaw Sk. He was the second oldest out of 5 children.

After high school Ken pursued a career in the RCMP, stationed in BC.

The call of flying a plane caught his attention in 1976. He spent the rest of his successful career flying in Ontario, Manitoba, NWT, and Saskatchewan where he finished off his career in 2019 at Sask Northern Air Operations.

After his retirement, Ken loved bike riding with his wife, camping, seeing his kids and grandkids, coffee dates with friends and family.

Faith was an integral part of Ken’s life. He loved the Lord and is with his saviour in heaven. We praise God that Ken has new eyes, shoulders, hips, knees, ankles and feet! He is finally pain free.
