Classic Car Showcase & Country Music (Treherne)
Head to the Second Chance Car Museum this Saturday, June 14 (2–5:30 p.m.) at Railway Ave and Vanzile St.
Explore over 100 vintage vehicles stored in a 25,000 sq ft purpose-built steel museum, with models dating back to the 1910s.
Stick around for live country music from the Earle Family & Friends.
Father’s Day Fair at Fort la Reine Museum
Celebrate dad on Saturday, June 14 (10 a.m.–3 p.m.) at 2652 Saskatchewan Ave E. This family-friendly fair, in partnership with United Way West Central Manitoba, features:
- BBQ, bucket golf, games & vintage displays
- Interactive tractor exhibit tours, mini-market
- Hot shaves from Meraki, plus car detailing
- Allis‑Chalmers tractor display and more
Admission is $5 per person; children 12 and under are free. Proceeds support both United Way and museum programs.

Lundar Fair Day One Kicks Off June 13
The 71st annual Lundar Fair is in full swing this weekend, bringing a packed schedule of family fun, competitions, and community spirit to the Interlake.
Friday features 4-H showcases, a ranch sorting competition, live music from The URGEZ, and a fireworks show to close out the night. Antique tractor pulls, commercial vendors, and a midway also run throughout the day.
Saturday kicks off with a free pancake breakfast, followed by a lively parade, horse shows, a petting zoo, face painting, and the always popular baby show. The afternoon includes entertainment by the arena, beer gardens, a beef dinner, and interactive animal exhibits from Prairie Exotics.
Both days feature midway wristband specials and a variety of local food and display booths.
