The Swift Current 57's and Moose Jaw Miller Express start four straight games against each other in WCBL action tonight.

Swift Current is 3 games behind Moose Jaw for 4th in the East Division going into this stretch.

"Moose Jaw is well known in this league to be a good team," said 57's Head Coach Ruddy Estrella. "I think it will be a good series with them this week to get our hopes up and try to get back in that hunt for playoffs.

"Try to get as much as we can from Moose Jaw and get back in the hunt."

Swift Current's offence has been heating up lately. They're averaging 7.25 runs per game over their last 4 games.

"I think our kids are gearing up," Estrella said. "The bats are coming out and they're starting to show up. We just have to play better defence now and make routine plays. It's pretty exciting when you can see the hits get strung together and the team is scoring a lot of funs.

"Now you can see some of the kids coming off the bench are having productive at-bats. Getting into good counts and having quality at-bats."

The teams play tonight and Saturday in Swift Current, Sunday in Moose Jaw, and Tuesday back in Swift Current again.

First pitch is 7:05 PM tonight at Mitchell Field.
