Just two more games left on the junior Prairie Gold Lacrosse League regular season schedule for the Swift Current Wolverines.

They will host Regina tonight and Prince Albert tomorrow, and they need points to hold the final playoff spot in the league.

"They're as must-win as you can get," said Wolverines Head Coach Kevin Schafer. "We're in the third playoff spot right now. We've got to do our part to get a couple more points and secure that third spot."

Swift Current is coming off a 14-10 loss to Regina on the road last weekend as they host the Chaos tonight.

"We knew they had some guys who can play," Schafer said. "I think they had their A+ lineup on Sunday, and we expect to see that again tonight. We've identified some of their guys who are their good players, and I think we'll start their and key on those guys to see what we can make happen."

Swift Current sits 4-6 in what has been an up-and-down season for them.

"It's been the big message to the guys is to bring the consistency," Schafer said. "We need that shift in, shift out, game in, game out."

The Wolverines will then host the first place Prince Albert Predators on Saturday.

"PA is a very dynamic team," Schafer said. "They move the ball really well, and they finish really well. They're just an all-around good team. We've got a lot of respect for them, but it always comes down to a battle with those guys. It doesn't matter what the records are, it just seems like everyone is amped up and ready to go for those guys."

Saturday's game will be broadcast on Country 94.1 FM with Local Sports Live at 7:15 PM.

Both games this weekend start at 7:30 PM at S3 Arenas in Swift Current.
