Cabri recieved 50 millimetres of percipitation in a little over an hour.
The Friday storm also delivered two and a half inches of hail in the community in that same hour.
Shannon Moodie, meteorologist for Environment and Climate Change Canada, illustrated that the storm responsible for this event was one of seven thunderstorms rolling through western Saskatchewan.
"The storms will continue this evening and into tonight," said Moodie.
The hail was reportedly quarter sized. While that is concerning for plants and other property, Moodie says that glass would not be at risk until it gets substantially larger.
The risk of thunderstorms continues into Saturday, with the conditions expected to change by the evening.
