Two Estevan athletes reached the podium at the Special Olympics Provincial Bocce Championships this past weekend.
Rita Gaetz captured silver in the women’s division, while Michael Tymchuk brought home bronze in the men’s. The results capped off a strong showing from the Estevan team, who competed with focus, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
The provincial event featured top athletes from across Saskatchewan, offering strong competition and a high level of play. Estevan’s representatives rose to the challenge and delivered under pressure.
The team also extended thanks to Gilliss Casing Services and all community sponsors for their continued support.
