The U11 Humboldt Thunder Girls Softball team picked up another tournament win, this time winning the Murphy’s tournament in Saskatoon over the weekend.
In the round robin, the Thunder stormed out to a strong start winning their first three games, 19-2 over the Heat, 25-0 against the Saskatoon Lasers, and 20-0 against the Saskatoon Phantom Blues.
The Thunder’s dominance continued in the playoff rounds. In the quarter finals they shut out the Saskatoon Phantom Whites 14-0, they beat the Raider Rockets 14-2 and claimed the gold medals with a 9-3 win over the Davidson Red Sox.
