The downtown construction site saw a recent collision as a truck went through the site's fencing yesterday.
In a Facebook post sent out at around 6 p.m., pictures of the crash were posted, along with a brief description of a 2010-ish "white Dodge half tonne with a black RAM decal on the rear panels and a smashed up driver side front end".
EPS is actively investigating the collision, reporting that city employees observed the vehicle drive through several barricades, causing significant damage to them before exiting the construction zone. No injuries occurred as a result of the collision.
City staff provided the license plate, 651 NSS, and the owner of the vehicle was contacted. A suspect has been identified, according to police, and they are currently attempting to make contact with him.
Anyone who sees the vehicle is asked to contact EPS at 306-634-4767 to help them find the driver.
