Brandon police have called in supports in the search for 18-year-old Owen Bedford who was last seen around 2 am on Sunday morning at Houstons Country Roadhouse in Brandon.
Surveillance footage shows him outside the bar at 1:57 a.m. Bedford's last known text message from his phone was at 2:02 am. Further surveillance footage shows him and near Precision Toyota an hour later at 3 a.m.
'The Brandon Police Service is actively utilizing all available resources and technology in the search for Owen Bedford, including drones and specialized search dogs,' states Brandon Police Chief Tyler Bates. 'We are collaborating with the Office of the Fire Commissioner and our officers and Major Crimes unit is working hard to bring Owen home safely.'
'We urge anyone who may have information regarding his whereabouts to contact our Missing Persons Unit at 204-729-2392," adds Chief Bates.
