UPDATE: In an updated post, Mandy Irwin confirmed that the Estevan Police Service found the suspect and is in custody.

She thanked the police their "quick and diligent work" investigating the matter.

A break-in at the King Street Tim Hortons in Estevan was reported during the night shift on Tuesday, June 17.

Owners Mandy and Ryan Irwin posted a statement to Facebook, saying:

“At approximately 3:05 a.m. this morning, our King Street Tim Hortons location was broken into. The police have been incredible. Dogs have been here, and fingerprints taken. We’re now asking our community to be our eyes and ears."

If you recognize the person in the footage or live in the area and have any security video from around that time, please reach out to us or contact the Estevan Police Service directly.

"This has been an emotional hit for our family and our team," the Irwins said, "It’s more than a break-in; it’s a violation of everything we work so hard to build."

"We have a lot of feelings around this, but right now, our focus is on finding the person responsible.”

EPS patrol, K9 and forensic identification units responded to process the scene and attempt to locate the suspect. Surveillance video has been reviewed, and the matter remains under investigation.
