The summer cruiser is heading into another action-packed weekend, with stops planned across the region, including Didsbury and Airdrie.
The first event on the schedule is Discover Didsbury, set for Wednesday, June 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Didsbury Memorial Complex. The evening includes family-friendly activities such as face painting, glitter tattoos, bouncy houses, a touch-a-truck experience and a BBQ dinner. Free public swimming will be offered from 7 to 8 p.m.
On Saturday, June 21, the cruiser will be at Minto Communities’ Get the Scoop event from 1 to 4 p.m. at Wildflower Community Park, located at 21 Willow Green S.W. in Airdrie. Attendees can tour new show homes, enjoy a complimentary scoop of ice cream or cookie dough from La Diperie, and enter to win one of three Crumbl gift cards or a Ninja Creami. The afternoon will also feature a kids’ planning workshop and access to the park, pump track and sports courts.
Wrapping up the weekend, the cruiser will head to Carson’s Birthday Bash at Big Fun Inflatable Park on Sunday, June 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fourth annual event features cupcakes, play areas, raffles, door prizes and a silent auction. All proceeds will go to Autism Calgary.
