There's a fire ban throughout Kananaskis Country.

If you have camping plans for the Sheep River Provincial Park, you'll need to bring some propane, as no outdoor fires are allowed.
You will only be allowed to use propane stoves and barbeques, or self-contained propane fire pits.
The fire ban covers all the campgrounds such as Sandy McNabb, Junction Creek and Sheep Falls.
In South K-Country areas like Cataract Creek, Etherington Creek, Highwood, and McLean Creek are also off limits for campfires.
Before you head out, it's best to go to the Alberta Parks page for more.
