Parts of the southwest benefited with considerable rainfall totals on Tuesday night from a thunderstorm, while other areas went dry.

Environment and Climate Change Canada said late Wednesday morning that they hadn't received any reports of severe weather in the southwest.

"Looking at radar, there is probably a decent chance there was some hail with it," said Crawford Luke, a meteorologist with Environment Canada. "It's possible there was some hail that fell, but it might have just fallen in places where people were not there to see it or observe it."

A weather station by Fort Walsh led the way precipitation-wise, collecting 17.1 millimetres, with Cypress Hills also receiving 15.2 millimetres.
