After spending a season as a Bronco, Tre Fouquette will be a Dino next year.

The Humboldt Broncos announced today that Fouquette has committed to the University of Calgary Dinos hockey team for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

The Warman product was acquired by the Broncos last summer in a trade with the Nipawin Hawks. He had 35 points (7G-28A) in 56 games during the regular season. Fouquette added 2 points in the playoffs (1G-1A).

Before joining Humboldt, the 21-year-old spent time in both the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Prince Albert Raiders and Brandon Wheat Kings and Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League with the La Ronge Ice Wolves and Nipawin Hawks.

Head Coach and GM Brayden Klimosko praised Tre’s impact in a team release.

““Excited that Tre was committed to a top hockey program like University of Calgary. Tre was a great leader on and off the ice for us last season.”
