Following today’s earlier notice, the RM of Stanley Utility Department has confirmed that only a portion of the Dunston Water System will remain under a Boil Water Advisory.
Crews were able to complete quick repairs, meaning the advisory now applies to a smaller area than originally anticipated. Affected locations are outlined on the updated advisory map provided by the RM.

Once water service is restored, only the specified areas on the map will be under the Boil Water Advisory.
Residents in the affected zone are advised to use boiled or bottled water for the following purposes:
-
Drinking and making ice
-
Preparing beverages, including infant formula
-
Preparing food
-
Brushing teeth
The advisory will remain in effect until water quality standards are confirmed to meet public health requirements. Water samples have been sent to the lab, with results expected by early next week.
Once safety is confirmed, a rescind notice will be issued. In the meantime, updates will continue to be posted via the water advisory icon at the bottom of the RM of Stanley website.
The Utility Department thanks residents for their continued patience and understanding.
