Brandon Tourism has recently launched several digital initiatives aimed at enhancing the visitor experience. One of the key projects is a new Live Music Events landing page on their website.
This page is designed to encourage local venues to submit their upcoming live music events, helping visitors discover where they can enjoy live performances during their stay in the city. While venues may compete for customers, the broader goal is to work together to attract more visitors to Brandon and showcase its vibrant music scene.
The live music page is already gaining traction, with a growing number of events being listed," says Lanny Stewart, Director of Marketing and Communications for Brandon Tourism.
"For tourists planning a visit, this resource offers a convenient way to explore the local entertainment options. It’s part of a broader effort to highlight Brandon’s cultural offerings and make it easier for visitors to plan their activities while in town," he says.
Adventure Pass continues for its second year!
Another exciting initiative is the Adventure Pass, which was introduced last year and continues to grow in popularity.
"This mobile pass includes over 85 locations across Brandon," says Stewart, "such as restaurants, museums, and attractions. Visitors who check into at least five locations become eligible to win a gift card prize package, sponsored by Brandon Riverbank and T-Bird Food Fun Games. It’s a fun and engaging way to encourage exploration of the city."
To support the Adventure Pass, Brandon Tourism has also released a new instructional YouTube video.
"The video walks users through how to access and use the pass, making it even easier for newcomers to get involved. It's available on all of Brandon Tourism’s social media channels and our website, helping to spread awareness and boost participation."
"These digital tools are part of a larger strategy to promote Brandon as a destination and enhance the visitor experience," says Stewart. "Whether it’s through live music, local attractions, or interactive incentives, the goal is to create memorable experiences that encourage people to return. There are even more initiatives in the works, and Brandon Tourism is eager to continue building on this momentum."

Highlights of the past few weeks was the Brandon Summer Fair hosted by the Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba each year. Coming up are some dynamic events taking place at the Keystone Centre, including the Monster Truck Show. As well music festivals are coming to the outdoor stages, including the Westman Multicultural Festival at the Riverbank Discovery Centre.
