As of last Friday, the city of Winkler officially has its own Menzies ProCare clinic at 315 4th St., right where the old laundromat used to be.
“It is so exciting,” said Linda Menzies, owner and founder of Menzies ProCare. “We've had such amazing community support. It's just second to none.”
The new location came together over the past year, but the vision behind it began much earlier. “Well, the dream started about 25 years ago, but then I set up in Morden and then just about a year ago, this building became available. And so we did a little bit of revamping and just evolved it into this beautiful clinic, thanks to some amazing teamwork,” Linda explained. “Again, our tradespeople who live in our community did all do their part to get what we have today.”
She shared that the Morden clinic has grown from a solo practice into a team of 12 to 15 staff members across both locations, and went on to list a few of the services the clinic will offer, including podiatry, chiropractic care, naturopathic medicine, and counselling services, among others.

The clinic boasts a wide array of options for people to receive care, and for Linda Menzies, that’s the whole point.
“To create a one-stop shop for people to get optimal health. We all have different strengths, and so if we work together to help the patients in that way, it will be a lot more effective and a lot stronger,” said Linda.
She added a message of gratitude to the community, saying, “The community as a whole, the people that have been coming to support the staff, the practitioners, have been phenomenal,” she said. “The business community has thrown their support into various ways, and again, just to be part of that business family is such an honour.”
