Southwest community advised of wildlife in town

The Town of Maple Creek has issued a wildlife advisory detailing that a doe and fawn have been spotted within the town's limits.

The doe was reported to be displaying protective behaviour when encountering residents walking dogs.

The alert was issued at 10:25 a.m. on Tuesday to ensure that community members are mindful.

Folks are asked not to approach the animals, to keep pets leashed at all times, and to remain alert when walking along paths and green spaces.
