Fans packed the grandstand at Kinetic Park to witness metal and mayhem.

The Appetite for Destruction Demolition Derby exhilarated the Thursday night crowd with a showcase of skill and action.

Half a dozen drivers took to the track, with Carstairs, Alberta’s Nick Fedechko emerging as the victor behind the wheel of a 1976 Dodge Monaco.

“This was an awesome show, I wish there could have been more cars, but demolition derby is the best,” says Fedechko.

There were additional awards given to second, third, and fourth place. As well as the Bumper-to-Bumper's “Mad Dog” award presented to the most tenacious driver.

Additionally, Vic’s Automotive brought a handful of cars to participate in a round of “car hockey” during the intermission.
