As the season heats up, the Air 106 summer cruiser will be at some of the region’s biggest events this weekend.

Festivities begin with a free pancake breakfast hosted by House of Cars Airdrie, followed by the Airdrie Pro Rodeo and the annual Canada Day parade.

House of Cars Stampede pancake breakfast
When: June 28 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (food truck on-site until 2 p.m.)
Where: 117 Gateway Dr. N.E., Airdrie
The free breakfast will include pancakes, face painting, bouncy castles, a food truck and a live DJ. The event is open to the public and offers family-friendly fun.

Airdrie Pro Rodeo
When: June 27 to July 1
Where: Airdrie Pro Rodeo Ranch
The five-day rodeo will feature a junior rodeo, marketplace and vendor area, children’s activity zone, chute tours, professional rodeo events, live performances and a cabaret.

Airdrie Canada Day parade
When: July 1 from 10 a.m. to noon
Where: Downtown Airdrie
The annual parade features up to 100 floats travelling through downtown streets. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early with lawn chairs or blankets to secure a good viewing spot.

Visitors can stop by for a chance to win prizes and enter to win the Ram 1500.
