Visitors to Frontier Days were treated to a unique brand of free entertainment throughout the four-day event.
The Flying Fools High Dive Show held multiple performances each afternoon at Frontier Days, at the Family Fun Zone.
The Montreal-based event showcased the sheer precision of athletes diving from incredible heights ranging from 3 metres, all the way up to 25 metres.
“It’s terrifying but it’s fun at the same time,”said Simon Sarabura, one of the divers for Milord Entertainment. “We always say you have to respect the danger, it is extremely dangerous jumping from 80 feet into 10 feet of water but it’s also a lot of fun when you do it right.”
There were also additional elements of comedy to break up the action.
Sarabura was happy tp be performing in front of such a large audience.
“You can really feel the emotion of the crowd when they start screaming, it puts a smile on my face,” he said.
During the finale, one of the divers made the plunge from 25 metres into a pool measuring 26 feet (7.9 metres) in diameter, and 9.5 feet (2.9 metres) deep.
