The Moose Jaw Miller Express put another one in the win column, beating the Energy City Cactus Rats 4-1 Saturday afternoon.

The Miller Express will take today off before hitting Ross Wells Park for a Canada Day showdown against the Swift Current 57's.

Moose Jaw Warriors forward Lynden Lakovic is off to Washington. He was selected by the Capitals in the first round, 27th overall, of this year's NHL Entry Draft.

Moose Jaw's Cameron Billy has returned from the Amazing Muay Thai Festival in Italy with a silver medal under his belt. He fought in the Adult C Beginner Male Novice uner-90 kg weight class, securing a 2-1 record. 

Keaton Belsher, a standout receiver for the Central Cyclones, has been recognized for his performance at the CFC Prospect Game.

And in the CFL, the Saskatchewan Roughriders improved their record to 4-0 over the weekend, with a 37-18 victory over the BC Lions at Mosaic Stadium.
