It’s all about superheroes and spokes with the Kids Bike Fest and Safety Quest coming up on Friday, July 4 from 9:30 am to 12 noon at the Humboldt Uniplex parking lot.
The morning promises to be fun-filled and action packed with important elements of safety learning for good measure. The event includes a variety of activities with safety stations, bike decorating, a parade with prizes and more. The Bike Fest and Safety Quest is sponsored by the Humboldt Early Years Family Resource Centre and Safe Communities Humboldt.
As an added bonus, a fire safety session for kids with Sparky the fire dog will be part of the Safety Quest. The Reid Thompson Library teams up with Humboldt Protective Services to teach kids and parents about fire safety and emergency preparedness at 11 am in the Uniplex.
Great summertime fun is in store this Friday with safety learning bundled with great outdoor and indoor activities at the Humboldt Uniplex.
