The East Central Red Sox walked away from Regina with a split in their doubleheader with the White Sox.  

In game one, the Red Sox prevailed 13-12, but dropped game two, 15-5. 

Regina grabbed a 6-2 advantage after the first two innings, but the Red Sox battled back in the fourth inning, scoring seven runs on seven hits. Jaxon Schleper provided the biggest blow with a triple that knocked in three runs.  

The White Sox tied the game again before Jarrett Rude put the Red Sox with an RBI single.  

Regina tied the game again, but the Red Sox would pull ahead in the eighth inning scoring three times thanks to a pair of errors and a batter being hit by a pitch.  

Schleper finished the game with four RBIs. Luke Manz had two hits, a pair of RBIs, and scored three times. Gradyn Wilson got the win on the mound.  

The second game saw the Red Sox picking up the lead in the first inning with an RBI single from Jacob Trann.  

Regina moved ahead in the third inning with a pair of runs in the bottom of the second inning.  

Taylor Coleman tied the game for the Red Sox with an RBI single in the fifth inning. But in the bottom of the inning, the White Sox exploded with nine runs. 

East Central added three runs in the top of the sixth inning, before the White Sox put the game out of reach with four runs.  

Coleman was the only member of the Red Sox to get three in the second game.  

The split moves the Red Sox record to 13-8 on the season. 

Their next game is tonight in Muenster as they host the Sask Five Marlins, with the first pitch set for 6:30.
