Fire forces demolition of Ponteix businesses

A fire in Ponteix has resulted in multiple damaged businesses. 

One business was so badly damaged, an individual on site reports that the fire department used an excavator to knock the structure down.

The same observer, who wished to remain anonymous, witnessed the fire department tear the facade of another building down in order to more effectively fight the fire inside. 

The cause of the fire has not been reported to Swift Current Online. The total extent of the damage, as well as how many buildings were affected, is also unknown.
