Severe thunderstorms rolled through parts of southwestern Manitoba Thursday night and early Friday morning, with Tornado Warnings issued for more than an hour for two locations.
The R.M. Pipestone and Municipality of Two Borders had the Warnings issued for two different thunderstorm cells which crossed over the Saskatchewan/Manitoba border and moved eastward. As of this morning, there are no reports of touchdowns, with the Warnings issued by Environment Canada based on RADAR imagery showing rotation in those particular storms. Stormchasers on the ground also captured the same rotation in videos and pictures posted to social media.
