An annual prayer and praise conference is back in Winnipeg this weekend.
On Saturday, July 5, starting at 10 a.m., The Rock of Ages Ministries is hosting the Praying for Results Conference.
"It's an inter-denominational conference where people come together as the body of Christ to pray individually. We pray for the nation. I will take specific things that by this time next year you can come back to say 'This is what I prayed for and this is what God has done,'" says Bamidele Oni, Team Lead and Director.
One of the speakers for the conference is Pastor Yomi Ajayi from Nigeria, and he is excited to see what God does at this conference. "Especially this second half of the year, we are really expecting that this year ends on a note of joy and praise. We're expecting families to come around, whatever it is you have as your special request, you can just put that across to God as we pray together."
The theme of the conference is Testimony, something that Oni believes fits perfectly. "It's going to be a time of individual intercession where we can intercede for one another. The expectation is that a number of things that have been happening in our city. We also want to commit that to God."
The event is free to attend and is at 150 Bayridge Avenue in Winnipeg.
