The temperature in the Foothills won't be as high this weekend as it was last, but there is still plenty to do.

Friday, July 4:
At the Environmental Education Centre in Okotoks, this week's Nature Fridays event will teach about the Whimsical Upcycling for Tiny Critters from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and youth will step into the magical world of insects.
The Okotoks Farmers' Market will be at the Viking Rentals Centre parking lot, where people can buy fresh food and treats from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
As always, Friday nights at the Okotoks Rec Centre are Youth Nights, where youth aged 12 to 18 are able to enjoy the pool and gymnasium at the Rec Centre until 10 p.m. and the Youth Centre until 11 p.m. for free.
From 7 to 8 p.m., the Concert at the Park will be taking place at the Olde Towne Plaza in Okotoks. It's a free concert, and all ages are able to attend.
All July long, Yooneek Books is hosting their third annual Find Waldo in Okotoks challenge. As part of the challenge, businesses in Okotoks will hide a Waldo cutout somewhere in their store for people to find.
Saturday, July 5:
In Longview, the Longview Country Market will be happening from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. across from the Longview Elementary School.
CARSTAR Okotoks is hosting a Soaps It Up Charity Car Wash, which will raise money for Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
At the Regional Field House, they will be hosting their 4th Annual Foothills Family Expo Stampede Breakfast & Trade Show from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Dawgs will be at Seaman Stadium taking on the Brooks Bombers, with the first pitch happening at 7:05 p.m.
At the Okotoks Elks Club, there is a perogy lunch and meat draw every Saturday.
Sunday, July 6:
There are drop-in activities in Okotoks, which can be found here.
The Okotoks Dawgs will be taking on the Brooks Bombers again at Seaman Stadium, with the first pitch happening at 2:05 p.m.
As it's Stampede week, there are also numerous pancake breakfasts happening in the area.
