It’s Stampede season, and local spots are serving family-friendly Pancake Breakfasts packed with live music, petting zoos, line dancing, and community spirit.   

Here's your guide to make the most of the festivities:  

Saturday, July 5   

Enjoy free pancakes, live music, and new this year, line dancing at the Okotoks Evangelical Free Church from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  

The 20th annual Lake at Heritage Pointe Community Stampede Breakfast runs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and includes face painting, balloon artists, demonstrations, live entertainment, and games. 

The Foothills-Okotoks Regional Field House Family Expo features a Stampede Breakfast, Fair, and Trade Show from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Returning to the expo this year is a market, live music, a bouncy castle, and a petting zoo.  

Tuesday, July 8  

Murray Okotoks Chrysler Dodge Jeep Rams Stampede Breakfast is going beyond pancakes with face painting between 8 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.  

Thursday, July 10  

The fifth annual Stampede Breakfast at CARSTAR Okotoks runs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with proceeds supporting the Rowan House Society.   

Strike a pose in a western photo booth and enjoy good old-fashioned fun at the CIR Realty Stampede Breakfast from 10 a.m. until noon.  

 Friday, July 11  

Nutters Everyday Naturals is offering protein-rich and gluten-free pancakes between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.  

Saturday, July 12  

Families can enjoy pancakes with live music, inflatables, slides, and more at the Church of Latter-Day Saints Stampede Breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon.  

Re/Max Complete Realty is serving pancakes and coffee from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at a Stampede Breakfast.  

Pancakes, coffee, and juice will be available at Save on Foods Okotoks between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.  

Sunday, July 13  

Enjoy pancakes at St. Peter’s Anglican Church from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., followed by a Cowboy Service. 

And there's also the High River Stampede Breakfast coming up during the Battle of the Foothills Chuckwagon races in two weeks.

Saturday, July 26

Enjoy pancakes, live music, and mini-chuckwagon soap box races, a dunk tank, a wild west shootout, and so much more at George Lane Memorial Park in downtown High River for the second annual Stampede Breakfast.
