Moose Jaw and District Sports Hall of Fame announces 2025 inductees

The Moose Jaw and District Sports Hall of Fame has announced its 2025 induction class. 

Included in this year’s class are five builders and three athletes. 

Being inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame for 2025 are: 

• Lorraine Arguin – builder- wheelchair curling 
• Norm Balderston – builder – curling 
• Rob Friesen – athlete – diving 
• Vern Kergan – builder – speed skating 
• Jim Large – builder – hockey and cycling 
• Len Nielsen – athlete – hockey 
• Jim Runzer – athlete – wrestling 
• Cliff Wiens – builder – judo 

The induction ceremony will be held on Friday, Sept. 26, at the Temple Gardens Centre. The Moose Jaw and District Sports Hall of Fame is located on the second floor mezzanine at the Temple Gardens Centre.
