The pool at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex (BSRC) is set to reopen tomorrow (July 8) at 6 a.m.

The facility was closed on June 24 due to an unscheduled heating system shutdown in the mechanical room.

Pass holders as of June 24 will receive a one-month extension, and refunds will be provided to accounts for all town-run lessons scheduled during the closure.

The public is asked to be patient, as not all programs will be immediately available.

“Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation while we worked to repair our heating system,” the Town of High River said in a media release. “We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you back in the water.”

There is an upcoming scheduled pool closure between July 28 and Aug. 1, to facilitate work on the expansion project.

The pool will reopen on Aug. 2 at 9 a.m. for regular activities.
